Dermal Fillers
Benefits of dermal fillers include:
- Smooth the appearance of lines and wrinkles
- Restore volume to cheeks and temples
- Soften vertical lip lines
- Plump and hydrate the lips

Dermal Fillers also raise depression from scars to improve their appearance. Because dermal fillers contain a hyaluronic acid base, they deeply hydrate the skin, adding to a more youthful and glowing complexion.

DERMAL FILLER FAQs
What are Dermal Fillers?
How do Dermal Fillers work?
Are Dermal Filler injections painful?
You may be given a topical anesthetic to numb the area before injection to reduce pain. Many patients report slight discomfort while receiving injections, similar to a pinch or prick.
When will I see results?
Results will likely be instantaneous. Your provider will lend you a mirror so you can see your injection’s results before you leave. Swelling is almost immediate, so final results are typically revealed one to two weeks post-appointment.
How long will results last?
Dermal fillers may last anywhere from 6 to 18 months. Results depend on the area treated and the product used. Some areas of the face metabolize the filler faster than others. For example, certain dermal fillers, such as Voluma, are formulated to last longer but are limited to the cheeks.
Will there be downtime after dermal fillers?
Swelling and mild bruising are likely to occur for one to two weeks, depending on your body’s response to treatment and the number of injection sites. You should avoid exercise 24 hours post-treatment but are free to resume your daily activities.
Will I need additional treatments?
Dermal fillers do not last forever. If you wish to maintain your results or add to them, you will need maintenance appointments between six to twelve months after your initial appointment.
